Athletes make choices. They choose the sports(s) they play. There also comes a time when they choose to either improve themselves in their play or "just play" the game. One of the most important choices can sometimes be "Do I go play where my friends are?" or "do I go commit where I can improve my game?" If an athlete chooses the road to improve then part of that conclusion should be that they need discipline, structure, and leadership. They need a coach who can motivate, breakdown skills, and do a great job of interacting with them. They should understand that "just showing up" will not get them better. Our coaching staff is her to help them get better. They have committed themselves to: |
